• id Software -- They created Doom and later GPL'd the source code.
• DoomWorld -- A great Doom news and resource site.
• Doom HeadQuarters -- Another great Doom news and resource site.

Other Process Monitors/Managers:

• LavaPS -- Processes. Lava lamp. Need I say more?
• gPS - Graphical Process Statistics -- In addition to managing local processes, it can monitor processes on remote machines.
• KTop: The KDE Task Manager -- Process Monitor and Manager for KDE.
• Qps - Visual Process Manager -- A process manager written with the Qt library. An older version of this program is bundled with KDE and is called kpm.
• sysinfo -- A 'top' replacement written in WINGs. In order to be portable, it uses Martin Baulig's excellent glibtop library to get information about your machine and its processes.
• The Kim - interactive process manager -- This program is for character terminals, and looks easier to use than 'top'.
• ncps -- Another character terminal process manager.
• NetMon -- A network-wide process monitor (kind of "top for networks") using GTK widgets.
• ProcMeter -- A modular monitor of processes, CPU usage, mail, and other stuff.
• Performance Co-Pilot -- An SGI project with an API for monitiring all sorts of data.
